Ansen holds multiple diplomas, licenses, and certificates in various health fields which gives him a broad experience and understanding for treatment. He offers many years of hands-on experience as a R.Ac, RMT and DOMP.
As an Acupuncturist, Ansen started helping patients with acupuncture therapy many years ago. Ansen believes that the body is a dynamic unit of function. When the free flow of vital energy (Qi) has been slowed down or blocked, our body starts to experience discomfort and pain. In order to provide an effective acupuncture treatment, based on a good TCM diagnosis, Ansen uses the most necessary number of needles to guide patients’ imbalanced Qi to break through the stagnation and restore its free flow and patients’ health.
Ansen's treatment focus is to provide safe and effective holistic acupuncture therapy, osteopathic manual therapy and swedish massage therapy services to all of his clients . His treatment style involves treating the body as a whole, to ensure the cause of the pain is identified and solved. He incorporates many different techniques into his treatment including cupping, cranio-sacral and visceral manipulation, muscle energy techniques, fascial stretching, soft-tissue release, passive vertebral mobilizations, and balanced ligamentous and membrane tension techniques.
Ansen has successfully treated patients with a variety of medical conditions including chronic pain, headaches, arthritis, insomnia and stress related symptoms for years. He is proud to bring his knowledge and experience of multi healthcare modalities to our Clinic.
